AT&T Expands 4G into New Markets

AT&T announced Wednesday that it has made some adjustments to the coverage of its 4G LTE cellular network.

According to a press release issued by the carrier today, AT&T has turned on 4G LTE cellular coverage for the first time in the following locations:

  • Sebring, Florida
  • Athens, Ohio
  • Dyersburg, Tennessee

Additionally, the carrier announced separately today, AT&T’s 4G LTE cellular coverage has been expanded in Mobile, Alabama. 4G coverage was already available there, however AT&T has fine-tuned the service to ensure better and more widespread coverage.

“We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in South Alabama responds to what customers want from their mobile experience — more, faster, on the best devices,” says Gigi Armbrecht, AT&T Regional Director of External Affairs.
