According to the findings of a new ChangeWave Research survey, Americans’ love affair with smartphones is turning into a full blown obsessions.
With interest in smartphone ownership at all-time highs, ChangeWave says the survey shows that there’s one dominant name that continues to drive the smartphone adoption rate – Apple’s iPhone.
Remarkably, a majority of future smartphone buyers say will purchase Apple’s red-hot smartphone. All told, 54% of future smartphone buyers are committed to buying the iPhone 4S.
“Apple has never dominated smart phone planned buying to this extent more than two months after a major new release,” the firm says.
ChangeWave, which conducted a survey of 4,000 consumers in North America, says the leading reason for the iPhone’s “extraordinary demand” is its “industry leading” customer satisfaction rating.
Are you in the market for a new smartphone? If so, have you decided on (or against) an iPhone 4S?
