You just had to expect fitness tech, wearables, and other related platforms to make a big splash at this year’s SXSW.
Indeed, fitness will play a big role in Austin, Texas this week for the start of the annual entertainment and cultural extravaganza that is South by Southwest.
A major anticipated standout at this year’s festival will be Radius.
If you’re not familiar, Radius is a premium subscription digital video service from NBCUniversal that makes “first-class fitness experiences accessible anytime, anywhere, on any screen.”
Radius works via RadiusFitness.com across mobile, tablets, desktops, and via the Radius Fitness app for iPhone and iPad.
The bottom line? This nifty platform provides consumers with easy access to personalized workouts “on their terms, time, and turf.”
Radius is hosting a variety of activities throughout SXsports to introduce SXSW attendees to the Radius experience, “with customized workouts developed by fitness powerhouse talent Natalie Uhling, Keoni Hudoba and Caley Alyssa.”
“Check out everything Radius has to offer as well as snag some great active gear at the NBC Sports Lawn, located off the San Jacinto Ballroom foyer in the Four Seasons,” a news release provided to MMW reads. “Take advantage of our charging stations, while you watch live games and enjoy refreshments. Or get active by joining in on the numerous lawn games we have on hand.”
