Apple is now almost universally expected to roll out its iPhone 6s at a media event in early September.
But what remains to be seen is where the event will take place.
As BI reported Monday, it doesn’t look like San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts will return as host for the iPhone media unveiling. This time around, the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium may play host.
According to BI, the facility is “a massive, 7,000-capacity space in the heart of San Francisco’s Civic Center neighborhood.”
And we’re told that an unknown booker has reserved the facility from September 4th through the 13th.
“Of course, that’s no guarantee that it’s Apple reserving the space,” the report reads. “But it fits in perfectly with the timeline and previous reports of a September 9th iPhone event, and it also fits with the company’s penchant for secrecy.”
