Word on the street is that Google wants to upstage Apple this month.
If so, Google will have its work cut out for itself as the iDevice maker is poised to unveil a slate of new and refreshed offerings next week, including the purported “iPhone 6s”.
But Google doesn’t want to be disregarded on the global mobile stage. Consequently, the rumor mill says that on September 29th, Google will unveil two new smartphones.
These two devices — one from LG and another from Huawei — will be the tech giant’s counter punch for iPhone 6s.
“The Nexus smartphones are essentially Google’s ‘flagship’ devices that show off the latest version of its Android software, which powers the majority of the world’s smartphones,” CNET reports.
Google, of course, hasn’t confirmed the September 29th event, but sources in-the-know are confident it will happen.
