Palo Alto Networks, a security company, and the team at Tanium, who are also specialists in security and systems management, have formed a strategic alliance that we’re told will “transform the effectiveness, accuracy, and speed by which large, distributed organizations prevent, detect, and respond to today’s cyberthreats.”
In 2015, it’s all about going to war with cyber terrorists and winning the battles at hand.
Given the speed and sophistication of modern cyber attacks, integrated and automated prevention technologies “are of the utmost essence.”
Security teams are overwhelmed with the flood of alerts coming in from a variety of tools, each monitoring a different aspect of the network.
“Today’s organizations face a daunting challenge in preventing and remediating cyberattacks as quickly as possible across their distributed organizations,” says Chad Kinzelberg, SVP of business and corporate development at Palo Alto Networks. “We are pleased to be teaming with Tanium to fundamentally change the game for adversaries, arming security organizations with innovative new tools to go on the offensive and quickly prevent, detect, and respond to attacks before damage is done.”
