MMW has learned that GENBAND, a developer of multimedia and cloud communications solutions, is bringing its Smart Office Unified Communications (UC) solutions to the Samsung Solutions Exchange.
“We recently launched the Samsung Solutions Exchange to further enhance our ability to assist Enterprises in adopting a mobile-first strategy,” explains Tim Wagner, Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise Business Unit at Samsung Mobile.
“GENBAND’s solution allows companies to use Samsung Mobile’s highly desirable devices in innovative ways to create a truly mobile UC experience,” Wagner said in a statement shared with MMW.
Announced in February 2013, GENBAND’s alliance with Samsung Mobile brings turnkey solutions to the enterprise market that combine Samsung’s enterprise-grade devices with GENBAND’s SMART OFFICE UC solutions.
In short, the solution offers enterprise customers “a secure, intelligent, and cost-effective desk phone complement or replacement solution with integrated multimedia capabilities that will allow employees to carry their communications and collaboration environment with them – inside or outside of the office.”
