Internet Dental Alliance Augments Mobile Marketing Package

If you’ve been to a dentist recently, there’s a good chance your experience involved mobile technologies.

“From mobile text alerts confirming appointment times to helpful reminders about dental cleanings, mobile marketing goes hand-in-hand with modern marketing efforts at dental practices,” independent business analyst and social media expert Mike Randazzo tells Mobile Marketing Watch.

Just this week, in fact, one of the top names in dental marketing resources – the Internet Dental Alliance – confirmed an expansion of tools and resources for mobile-savvy dental practices across the United States.

IDA, if you’re not familiar, provides dental management advice and customized resources to dental practices.

The bag of tricks offered by the organization now includes mobile sites.

Since mobile devices now outnumber laptops and desktops for internet access – and that ‘trend’ is fast becoming the standard – IDA’s New Patient Marketing Plan automatically integrates mobile sites with dentists’ main dental websites, or Portals.

“Mobile marketing for dental practices is no longer a luxury – it’s a necessity,” says Jim Du Molin, founder of Internet Dental Alliance. “Most regular websites don’t automatically display properly on mobile devices. So it’s crucial for dental practices to have an effective mobile app so consumers using smart phones and iPads can find them.”
