Analytics firm SumAll has ranked Instagram as the best social platform for businesses.
So why does the image sharing platform top Twitter, Facebook, and even Google+?
SumAll deduces that Instagram is ahead of the pack largely due to the rapid expansion of its subscriber base, general user engagement, and even sales effectiveness. Of the businesses analyzed, Instagram simple yielded better results and more social engagement.
“With increases in fan and follower engagement nearly three times that of other networks studied, Instagram is the clear winner for 2013,” says Dane Atkinson, SumAll’s CEO.
“All four of the networks [Instagram, Twitter, Google+ and Facebook] continue to show their value, with Facebook still established as the overall leader in sales ROI. But according to our results, if a company has a visual product to sell and it’s currently not on Instagram, that company is missing out on significant brand awareness and revenue,” Atkinson adds.
