Embarcadero Technologies has a lot to be proud of. The provider of software solutions for application and database development announced the success of the RAD Studio XE3 World Tour this week.
According to details revealed on Tuesday, thousands of developers traveled to over 70 locations worldwide to learn about the new RAD Studio XE3 development tools.
“We are on track to having well over 10,000 people register for our RAD Studio XE3 World Tour events,” said Michael Swindell, senior vice president of marketing and product management at Embarcadero. “We see this as clear evidence developers are looking for solutions to solve their cross-platform Windows/Mac, Windows 8 and multi-platform mobile challenges.”
RAD Studio XE3, Delphi XE3, and C++Builder XE3 support the rapid, visual development of cross-platform business applications targeting the new Windows 8 and Mac OS X Mountain Lion operating systems. New HTML5 Builder is the only tool enabling visual development of web and end-to-end mobile apps (iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows Phone) from a common HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript codebase. The new XE3 versions were introduced earlier this month.
So far, the Embarcadero customers who have acknowledged their experience with the RAD Studio have largely praised the team behind the developments.
“We develop desktop, web and mobile software solutions for many different businesses that run on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and OS X,” said Andrew Tierney, CEO CastleSoft. “We found that the new RAD Studio XE3 gives you an edge over your competition. We can quickly produce cross-platform Windows 8 style applications using its rich framework.”
