Emmet is said to bring more than 15 years of wireless industry and mobile channel experience to the MMA.
He represents one of the first mobile aggregator companies to successfully launch SMS services in the US market. Emmet has extensive relationships with major brands, content providers, media companies, and mobile operators globally, many of whom belong to the MMA.
“I am honored to serve on the MMA’s North American Board of Directors with a very experienced group of mobile industry leaders,” said Emmet in a press release from his company.
“At OpenMarket,” he adds, “we are committed to helping enterprises use mobile to engage and transact with their customers while delivering a personalized user experience. I look forward to sharing our knowledge and experiences as we look for ways to help our ever-evolving industry to flourish this year and in the future.”
The MMA Board of Directors for North America is comprised of individuals representing some of the world’s top advertisers, agencies, brands, retailers, software and service providers, and wireless operators.
