inMarket Taps New CRO to ‘Take Things to the Next Level’

Beacon proximity company inMarket recently confirmed its newest talent acquisition.

Former MaxPoint executive Chris Kozloski has joined inMarket as the location intelligence innovator’s Chief Revenue Officer.

A pioneer long at the forefront of delivering contextual content to consumers in the retail space, inMarket’s decision to welcome a respected mobile/location veteran to the team bodes well for the company at a time of steady growth and industry expansion.

Earlier this year, inMarket once again helped to move beacons beyond the basics with the unveiling of a sophisticated new ambient intelligence platform called inBar that dramatically advances the scope and scale of what beacons can do for consumer engagement across bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

As for Chris, he comes to inMarket after serving as Executive Vice President of Global Sales at MaxPoint Interactive since 2010.

“Under Chris’s leadership, MaxPoint grew to over $100 million in revenue, leading to an IPO in 2015,” reads a media statement issued by inMarket on Thursday.

In his new role at one of Silicon Beach’s hottest companies, Chris will be responsible for overseeing all sales and revenue operations across inMarket’s offices in Chicago, New York and Venice Beach.

“For seven years, inMarket has been a trendsetter in the location-based advertising space — from the first retail beacon platform to creative uses of data for predictive and insightful programs,” said Kozloski. “There’s a great foundation here and I’m excited to take things to the next level.”
