Infospace Inks New Search Deal with Microsoft's BingIf you blinked, you might have missed the fleeting but still important news that Infospace has partnered with Bing.

A subsidiary of Blucora, Inc., Infospace has inked a deal to distribute Bing search results as well as advertising content through the Infospace network of Web search properties. The deal extends to the company’s partner websites on both desktop and mobile.

The agreement is for a three-year search and advertising partnership extending through July 31, 2018.

“We are thrilled to partner with Bing,” said Peter Mansour, president of Infospace. “Securing a direct deal with Bing diversifies our search engine partner network and gives us business direction flexibility. This agreement represents our ongoing commitment to evolve our offering to help partners maximize their revenue and build stronger brands.”

Bing is owned by Microsoft, whose corporate vice president for advertising Rik can der Kooit recently applauded the partnership.

“We’re pleased to announce this agreement with Infospace to extend search powered by Bing across the company’s robust network of search properties and partner websites,” said van der Kooi. “This is another step in expanding Bing’s reach to more and more people, across PC and phone.”
