Tech junkies everywhere have been clamoring to see the new Steve Jobs biopic since the project was first announced last year.
On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the long-awaited feature film about the life and legacy of the Apple co-founder will open nationwide in theaters this April.
The film – simply called jOBS – stars Ashton Kutcher in the title role and chronicles the iDevice pioneer’s rise to glory, fall from grace, and reemergence as the modern business and entrepreneurial icon of his era.
On January 27th, jOBS will premiere as the closing-night film of the Sundance Film Festival.
“jOBS is certain to resonate with audiences, and we are thrilled to partner with Five Star Feature Films to bring this film to theaters,” Tom Ortenberg, Open Road CEO, told THR today.
