This week, Marin Software — provider of a top cross-channel performance advertising cloud — and Marketing Land, producer of the SocialPro conference, launched the second annual “Biggest Social Geek Contest.”
If you’re not familiar, the Biggest Social Geek “is a quiz-based contest that challenges the world’s best and brightest digital marketers to a series of questions on a variety of social advertising topics.”
According to an announcement from the event’s organizers, over 2,300 social marketers across the globe competed in last year’s first-ever contest.
Last year’s grand prize winner was Paul Zubrinich of Germany, who scored 95% of the quiz questions correctly in less than 5-and-a-half minutes. Regional winners were Judah Schiff of the United States, Andreea Milea of Germany, and Rich McPharlin of Australia.
So how can you get involved? The 2015 contest is open to contestants in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany and Australia and will run from August 17th to October 30th this year.
