This week, MMW was briefed by the team at Schedulicity — a leading provider of online scheduling and marketing tools for appointment, class and workshop-based businesses — on the launch of its client app, a new mobile marketplace that serves as the platform for consumers to find and book local services in over 50 different industries.
Whether booking a hair appointment, a piano lesson, or a martial arts class, consumers can now manage all of the services that are essential to their lives with one convenient app.
“In 2010, we set out to create a platform where local, service-based businesses could be found and booked by consumers within their community,” said Jerry Nettuno, founder and CEO of Schedulicity. “Six years and 80 million appointments later, we’re seeing unprecedented growth as businesses see the value of this exposure and consumers experience the convenience of a service marketplace where everything can be booked online 24/7.”
Local service based businesses including massage therapists, acupuncturists, dog walkers, tax accountants, chimney sweeps, hair stylists, estheticians, fitness instructors, class and workshop teachers, and more—can now engage with potential and existing customers based on proximity and services offered. “I just love using Schedulicity! We have a lot of clients that have been with us for years, but Schedulicity is bringing in new people from younger generations to get tax help,” said Kathy Olson of GV Tax Services LLC.
This new app comes on the heels of Schedulicity’s reinvention of its booking platform and expansion of services to include a free version of its class and workshop-based offering – and the launch of Schedulicity Business, a mobile app that enables service-based businesses to easily manage their business from anywhere, at anytime. “I appreciate how seamlessly Schedulicity works for me…it never, as in never makes a mistake,” said Grady Yarbrough of GY Executive Coaching. “My clients love it. I love it. Thank you!”
