A new report from Forrester Research, Inc. includes Vibes, a mobile marketing company, as a vendor in three mobile marketing technology categories: Mobile Engagement Automation, Mobile Messaging and Messaging Aggregators.
According to Vibes, the report — which examines 12 important technologies in mobile marketing and commerce — is one of the most comprehensive assessments of mobile technologies produced to date.
The March 2016 report, “TechRadar: Mobile Marketing, Q1 2016,” claims mobile has moved beyond its designation as a channel to a full-blown catalyst for digital business transformation. According to the report, mobile is now at the core of customer engagement for B2C marketers, with 94 percent of U.S. consumers owning smartphones and spending two hours per day browsing the mobile Web or interacting with their apps.
This activity collectively generates 30 billion mobile moments each day in the U.S., Vibes says. The report notes technology to effectively engage in these moments is critical and asserts delivering in these mobile moments is an imperative for brands, not an option.
“I believe that being included in three mobile marketing technology categories demonstrates the scope and scale of our platform and mobile expertise,” says Jack Philbin, CEO of Vibes. “By keeping a constant pulse on evolving consumer expectations and offering a holistic mobile marketing automation platform, Vibes enables brands to power effective engagement in mobile moments.”
