Thanksgiving Reminds Us That Cybercrime Never Takes a HolidayWith the holiday shopping season set to begin before Thanksgiving dinner has even settled in our bellies, millions of Americans will turn to their mobile devices and computers to get an early leg-up on holiday shopping on Black Friday.

But according to a new report from Tenable Network Security, it’s critically important to remember that cyber crime never takes a holiday.

“Over the next month you’re likely to hear Andy Williams singing, ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year,'” the company writes on its blog. “And based on last year’s holiday-season counts of remotely exploitable vulnerabilities from the likes of Microsoft, Oracle and Adobe you might think, ‘It’s the most vulnerable time of the year.’”

Unfortunately, the mobile and online shopping security risks continue to rattle many consumers. And the following infographic from Tenable Network Security reminds us why that is still the case.
