Ticket Applications Overwhelming After WWDC Announcement

Ticket Applications Overwhelming After WWDC AnnouncementMMW has learned that Apple could very well see a record number of ticket applications for the company’s World Wide Developer’s Conference this year.

Earlier this week, Apple announced that it will hold its 26th annual WWDC June 8 through June 12 at San Francisco’s Moscone West, “with more sessions than ever before streamed to developers.”

This year’s convention, like last year’s, will be all about the future of iOS and OS X.

Developers can apply for tickets via the WWDC website (developer.apple.com/wwdc/tickets) through Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. PDT.

“Tickets will be issued to attendees through a random selection process, and developers will know the status of their application by Monday, April 20 at 5 p.m. PDT,” Apple says.

Unfortunately, there will be far more ticket applicants than tickets available. Nonetheless, if you’re hoping to be a part of the event and have $1,599 to spare, you still have time to throw in your name for a possible seat at the table.
